that word is supposed to make us happy and make things rosy and complete, but not always. and if you have to stick with that word all your life, then you have to have a lot of patience, perseverance, and truly like to hold on.
i would like to share with all brothers and with you, master, how you taught me, because i’m your disciple, with your definition of love. i read it to my husband, and that’s how we live now. your definition of love is, when you love somebody,
you let free that person. you don’t… that person isn’t supposed to feel you grabbing on that person. (yeah, not possessed.) you give that person freedom and that person’s happiness is your goal, to see that person happy.
and my husband embraced that, like i. but i’m your disciple, he’s not. (he learned from you!) yes. i hope, master, that he will follow you, too. he follows already in his heart. thank you, master, thank you. that’s what i wanted to hear. but men, it’s very difficult to commit,
you understand that. my husband is very intellectual. and he became from atheist, he’s become agnostic now. which is like upgraded. (already an improvement.) he’s not too far now. and some percentage of ching hai in there. yeah?

and i got initiated last year. (four years.) yes. i was so ignorant. please, forgive me, master. no, it’s not. you’d been contaminated, that’s why. in the world. so that’s why it slowed you down. but now we’re here!
whenever i do a lot of longer meditations, i feel a lot of pain in over here and here, master. and i’m not able to do longer and longer. i want to do intensive meditations the whole night. every night i want
to use for meditation, but i was not able to do that. and also, earlier, before coming to this meditation, we were following another meditation from india. they say like, whenever you learn meditation, immediately the next minute
you can teach the same meditation to everybody. so it’s spreading very fast like that. we were spreading meditation at that time, a lot of teaching meditation. and at home also, we used to have classes every sunday, group meditations.
and after coming to quan yin, i stopped because master says, “first, you grow yourself, then you can (teach others.) teach others.†then i stopped. okay, thank you. very considerate. okay, maybe that’s the reason you have headaches right now.
i don’t want to offend anyone, but sometimes if you meditate on a lower chakra, or if not enough power to protect, or not aiming to go to the top, then the lower guardians or lower gods and goddesses want to keep you there. but you will go through.
promise. if you have a little headache, then you don’t do it. you stand up, do some exercises, some yoga, drink a glass of cold water. and then put on the tape, chanting tape, listen. just relax. just listen to chanting tape and
don’t think about anything, and then slowly you will go into samadhi (deep meditative state) again. and then you will break through. you have to always be grateful to your past guru. your master has taught you everything that he can
and gave you all the power that he has. and you tell the gods and goddesses that, where they keep you, say, “please, i really want to know almighty god. i thank you for all your love and your company, but i really want to go up.â€
