radically changing our system ofcampaign finance, as we said he went there to be arrested. you will see that in this video. all right, cenk uygur isbeing moved to the line and he is currently being putunder arrest. he is getting the white ziparound his back. yeah, right now he is kind ofright near the reporters. he is toward the end of the lineof people getting arrested. there is about ã±
there is about a dozen peoplenext to him being arrested. and, yeah, he is sporting ablazer and a zip up. of my close friends in theworld, cenk is one of them. not the most compelling piece ofvideo i have ever seen. jordanprobably can't get any closer. do you think cenk should behead-butting or breaking the ties? i would tell him i object tothe beginning of his statement with what he said.

"i am risking today to getarrested." this is going to go on hispermanent record. when we review hisperformance at the end-of-the-year, this isgoing to stand out. you were arrested. but it isgood, the event is important. we talk almost every dayabout this issue. a lot of people feel stronglyabout it, some of them in part because of our reporting butalso because of a lot of
organizations and people thatcome to it quite naturally as a necessary solution to a lot ofproblems we have in this country. we talk about it, but at the endof the day there needs to be action. this is the sort of protest thathopefully will get some coverage. we know cnn doesn't coverprotests on their front stoop anymore, let alone these.
perhaps they will. it is important that the peoplewho are spurring them on are also willing to do it. let'shear from this guy here. what are you going todo past this? will you mobilize, get yourfriends? i have been getting tofriends all day. i sent it to everyone,even people that maybe wouldn't agree. maybe we can change their minds?thanks guys.

if he starts body slammingcops, that would be a problem. i'm glad he's doing this. you know how devoted cenk is tothis issue, or tyt is to this issue. i am doing a ted talk on april22, originally i wanted to talkabout political corruption and how it impacts our justicesystem. of course the way you can makesure it doesn't get corrupted is by taking money out ofpolitics.
i sent in my proposal, they gotback to me and said we want you to focus more on this moneyout of politics thing. i sat down with cenk, i alwaysknew the general concept of wolf-pac, but when i satdown with him about how incredibly difficult it is toget the states to agree to a constitutional convention, andthen know that 38 of those states have to ratifythe proposal within the convention, he has an uphillbattle that he is dealing with and he is not deterred bythe challenges.
it is incredible. wolf-pac was created to dothe actual work of making this happen. even then it takes many people,and many of them enter politics specifically forthis issue. it is by design as difficult asanything politically to get done. wolf-pac was launched in 2010, so far four states have passedthe resolution.
we only have 30states to go, then we can have a constitutional ã±i am not trying to be a downer. i think it is possible. it's very difficult, but ithink it is possible. just talking to him about thespecifics of those challenges makes me realize just howinvested he is in doing this. if it's going to happen it'sgoing to be a groundswell. i sure hope so.that is if it works. we are either hoping forthat, or we are probably
overthinking this. if hillary clinton becomespresident she said she will get rid of it. we will see about that. she will put all of thosepeople's money where her mouth will then be. i'm sure real change is goingto come. i think the thing that hascapture in this race against the popular sport of berniesanders, i think she will toss
that in the trash. but it was good of cenk to goout there and do this, jordan as well. jordan, go get arrested buddy. by the way, cenk said ã±the police said that this is the most people that they havearrested. that is great, that is good. he also said it wasincredibly civil. as cenk pointed out the policeare part of the 99 percent.
there have been real definiteissues, and they are tied in many cases to a power structure. these are for the most partblue-collar, working men and women, union men and women. this has been happening forover hundreds of years.
