are so small that our waste management system slips through the crack. reporter: uc davis says the microplastics are a food source for the fish and ultimately us. who eats fish? we do, we love fish, right? so plastics in our fish and the

plastics contain chemicals that get in the body of the fish then we can be having that. i don't know what the answer is. i can not stop wearing my work00 out outfits. there are aspects of the problem that can be done before

the plastic gets out to sea. reporter: another option is collecting plastics at sea before the fish do. if you are wearing 100% cotton you are in the clear but if it is synthetic it could carry some of the dangerous plastics we talked about.
