(laughs) it was a huge step forme to take this job. the first time i went onair, i almost threw up all over this boardright here. (laughs) - drive safe,you're gonna go home

people always come upto me and they say, "you do such a good job." or, "thank you for lettingus know about this thing." it is satisfying knowingthat you get the word out to people, especiallyimportant things like weather, like ifthere's a blizzard coming and you let the community know. and possibly save somebodyfrom being on the road in the middle of a blizzard.

so far, and i look upto him like family. from the moment i got here,he encouraged me to start learning nakota, startlearning my language and start learningtraditional things. i was sort of wary tospeak my language at first. it was silly on my part,thinking because i have light skin, it wasawkward for me to speak my language, but he just said, "native isn't about
